Founded in 1993 by Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the former Governor of Kano State (2015–2023), and his wife, Prof. Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Ganduje Foundation is a non-governmental organization committed to addressing the needs of marginalized and vulnerable groups in Nigeria. The foundation operates as a beacon of hope for underprivileged communities, leveraging its resources and networks to provide sustainable and impactful interventions across various sectors.The organization’s programs are designed to uplift lives, foster self-reliance, and promote societal development.

Paid fines for over 5,000 prison inmates, facilitating their reintegration into society and reducing prison congestion.
